Server Rules

Read and follow these rules to keep Grand Bangla City fair, immersive, and enjoyable for everyone.

Important Notice

Grand Bangla City management reserves the right to change, add, remove, or modify any rule at any time if necessary. Breaking rules can result in warnings, citizen strikes, temporary bans, or permanent bans.

Core Roleplay Terms

1.1

RDM

Random Death Match means killing anyone intentionally without initiating high-quality roleplay or having a proper backstory. Breaking this rule can directly result in a ban and citizen strike.

1.2

VDM

Use common sense while driving. You cannot use a vehicle as a weapon under any circumstance, even if you have a strong reason to kill someone.

1.3

Fail RP

Fail RP means failing to roleplay properly with other people or characters. New players are expected to learn, but repeated poor roleplay can still be punished.

1.4

Fear RP

Fear for your life. Use common sense and act realistically when your life is in danger.

1.5

Power Gaming

Power gaming means forcing unrealistic actions or maximizing progress toward your goal in a way that breaks fair roleplay.

1.6

Meta Gaming

Using out-of-game information in-game to gain an unfair advantage is metagaming.

1.7

Combat Logging

Leaving in the middle of an active roleplay scene is not allowed.

1.8

Safe Zone Radius

The first 100 feet around listed safe zone areas are treated as part of the safe zone.

General Server Rules

2.1

Civilian vs Civilian

Civilian vs civilian situations are limited to 4 vs 4.

2.2

Gang vs Gang

Gang vs gang situations are limited to 6 vs 6.

2.3

Civilian vs Gang

Civilian vs gang situations are limited to 4 vs 6. Civilians are not recommended to get involved with gangs, because they should fear gang members who hold more power than civilians.

2.4

NLR

New Life Rule is very important. After you are downed, you cannot remember the last situation, even if treated by a doctor at Pillbox. If an involved survivor tells you what happened, you may recall it, but you cannot drag the situation unless that person was involved and escaped alive. After treatment or respawn, you cannot go within 500 feet of that situation area for 15 minutes. You cannot respawn until the situation is over, cannot call police or EMS during any situation, and must forget everything after respawn. If your body is burned or drowned, you must respawn.

2.5

Cuffs

You cannot buy cuffs in the middle of a situation or after a situation is over. If you want to loot, keep cuffs in your pocket before the situation.

2.6

Looting

You cannot loot bodies in the middle of a situation, including allies. You cannot loot police officers.

2.7

No Camping

Camping of any kind is completely disallowed.

2.8

Situation Warning

Before starting any situation, you must give proper warning and give the opponent 10 minutes to get ready. You cannot start shooting without giving time. If the opponent does not respond to the fight, the other gang can KOS them.

2.9

EMS and Police Kidnapping

You are not allowed to kidnap on-duty EMS or police during an active situation. If they are not in any situation, they may be kidnapped for robbery purposes. Police can be kidnapped without robbery only with a strong reason or backstory.

2.10

No Trigger RP

You cannot start a situation over a silly reason. You may do trash-talking roleplay or give a warning and continue later, but fighting immediately over weak reasons is not allowed.

2.11

Cuffing Procedure

To cuff someone, you must hold them at gunpoint, have them put their hands up, and cuff them from behind. Failing this is Fail RP.

2.12

Cop Fear

You must show fear toward cops. If multiple cops are pointing tasers at you, you cannot simply run away or tackle them to escape.

2.13

Foot Chase Tasers

During a criminal foot chase, cops must give three chances by tackling before using a taser. If the suspect does not surrender after three chances, police may tase and cuff them.

2.14

No Cop Baiting

Cop baiting is not allowed.

2.15

Drive-By Rules

Drive-bys are not allowed against police. Everyone may do semi drive-by against police. Full drive-by is only allowed in gang vs gang, gang vs civilian, or civilian vs civilian situations.

2.16

No Third Party

Third partying is not allowed. You cannot enter an ongoing situation from outside, and you cannot carry, drive, or sit in a car with someone during that situation.

2.17

No Friendly Hostages

Friendly hostages are not allowed. If police discover the hostage is friendly, police may breach.

2.18

Drug Areas

You are not allowed to use drug areas without permission from the gang controlling the area. Oxy is excluded because it is not turf.

2.19

No PD Attacks

Attacking PD is completely disallowed.

2.20

No Toxicity

Toxicity is not allowed. Bengali slang is not allowed. English slang may be used within reasonable roleplay limits.

2.21

No Safe Zone Escape

You cannot enter safe zones, red zones, apartments, houses, motels, or hotels during a situation to escape or gain advantage. You also cannot log out during a situation.

2.22

Progression RP

Progression RP is required. You cannot enter the city and immediately establish yourself as a gang leader or major figure. Start small and grow naturally.

2.23

No Stealing Emergency Vehicles

Stealing police or EMS vehicles is not allowed.

2.24

No Debit Card Looting

You cannot loot anyone's debit card.

2.25

Opponent Revival

If your opponent revives you, you cannot recall your memory or continue that situation.

2.26

Granny Treatment

If you revive your opponent at Granny, you must pay for their treatment by giving them $2500 cash.

2.27

No Unfair Emotes

You cannot use emotes or melee during a situation to gain an unfair advantage.

2.28

Helicopter Landing

You cannot land helicopters without helipads.

2.29

Neon Usage

You may buy neon, but you cannot use it in any situation.

2.30

Diving Suits

You cannot wear diving suits during an ongoing fighting situation.

Safe Zones

3.1

Pillbox

Pillbox is a safe zone.

3.2

Mayor Office

The Mayor Office is a safe zone.

3.3

Court House

The Court House is a safe zone.

3.4

Police Stations

All police stations are safe zones.

3.5

General Job Areas

All general job areas are safe zones, including Garbage, Fishing, Mining, Trucker, Taxi, Hunting, and similar jobs. You cannot camp outside these areas or kidnap someone there.

3.6

Whitelisted Jobs and Businesses

All whitelisted job or personal business areas are safe zones, including mechanic shops, Green Wonderland, Bean Machine, Pizza This, Vanilla Unicorn, Burger Shot, and similar locations.

3.7

PDM

PDM is a safe zone only when PDM staff are available.

3.8

Legion Garage

Legion Garage is a safe zone.

3.9

No Safe Zone Advantage

During a situation, you cannot enter a safe zone, motel, hotel, or house to take advantage of safe zone rules. Doing so can result in a ban and may be counted as power gaming.

Red Zones

4.1

Gang HQ and Drug Areas

All gang HQs and drug areas are red zones. Only the gang in possession of a specific area has the right to use force there.

4.2

Gang Meetings

When gangs are meeting in an area, that area is treated as a red zone. Gangs must use Sandy Airfield for gang meetings. Nobody can start situations there or camp outside the zone. After the meeting, situations can start only after both gangs reach their hood and a proper warning is given. Minimum warning time is 10 minutes. If any gang fails to maintain the given time, a strike will be given.

Robbery Section

5.1

Store Robbery

Store robbery requires 3 police, 2 criminals, and 1 hostage.

5.2

Fleeca Bank

Fleeca Bank requires 4+1 police, 4 robbers, and 1 hostage.

5.3

Paleto / Pacific Bank

Paleto or Pacific Bank requires 6+1 police, 6 robbers, and 2 hostages. Minimum 4 robbers must be inside the bank.

5.4

Jewelry Robbery

Jewelry robbery requires 5 police, 4 robbers, and 1 hostage. Minimum 3 robbers must be inside the store.

5.5

Escape Vehicles

You cannot use your trunk to hide a fellow robber and escape. You cannot use more than one escape vehicle. Bikes cannot be used as escape vehicles for jewelry robbery.

5.6

Stay Until Police Arrive

When you start a robbery, you cannot leave the area until police arrive.

5.7

Wait Time After Robbery

After completing a robbery, if police have not responded after the timer ends, you must wait 5 minutes in the city or 10 minutes outside the city before leaving.

5.8

Store Robbery Chase

Store robbery is 2 robbers vs 3 police. In code red, it remains 2 vs 3. Maximum 1 hostage. No extra police unit may join.

5.9

Fleeca Chase

Fleeca Bank robbery has 4 criminals and 4 police in chase. If it becomes code red, 1 additional police unit may join. Maximum 1 hostage.

5.10

Pacific / Paleto Chase

Pacific or Paleto robbery has 6 criminals and 6 police in chase. If it becomes code red, 1 additional police unit may join. Maximum 1 hostage. Maximum 4 robbers inside and 2 outside.

5.11

Jewelry Chase

Jewelry robbery has 4 criminals and 5 police. Maximum 4 robbers are allowed inside the shop. Maximum 1 hostage. One additional police may join if it becomes code red. Bikes are not allowed, and at least 3 robbers must be inside the shop.

5.12

Code Red Limits

Code red for silly reasons is completely disallowed. You cannot code red in a simple house robbery or traffic stop. Code red is allowed only in store, bank, and jewelry robberies. You may code red during drug sales, but make sure you are not outnumbered.

5.13

Police Interference

If you are fewer than the police, you must show fear. You may code red with police if police interfere in a shooting situation between two groups. It must be maximum 4 vs 4.
